It is with great enthusiasm that La Boîte began a series of screenings of its new documentary Mamu Ensemble Together on September 18, 2021 in Mani-Utenam (Maliotenam), Quebec.
La Boîte’s team and musicians Shauit and Saulo had the opportunity to participate in a radio interview with Alexandre Aster (Kabaka) of CKAU FM. They were accompanied by Jonathan Shetush, advisor to Innu Takuaikan Uashat mak Mani-utenam and Mishta-Ship Mckenzie, ambassador of the project in Mani-utenam.
La Boîte sincerely thanks Innu Takuaikan Uashat mak Mani-utenam (ITUM) for their invaluable support as well as the community of Mani-utenam for their warm welcome.
With this premiere, La Boîte begins a series of free screenings across Quebec from September 18 to November 11, 2021. The documentary examines the use of music as a tool for dialogue and rapprochement between cultures.
