It’s the same idea, but different. Instead of books, it’s people who travel — people who have something to share, like everyone does. Three professional or emerging artists — dancers, musicians, actors, storytellers, or craft artists — will visit three rural communities to sit with residents, share a piece of their story, and listen to theirs.

“No stage. Beyond talent, La Boîte is looking for people who are attuned to diverse human realities, as capable of listening as they are of creating, and comfortable facilitating genuine encounters with people from all walks of life. Selected artists will receive intercultural training before the tour begins.

What this means for communities
The Caravan of Possibilities aims to leave a lasting mark in every community it visits: stronger bonds between neighbours, conversations that continue long after the visit, a deeper practice of listening, and collective works that remain in communities as living traces of the encounters that took place.

The project specifically reaches residents of rural areas of all ages, newcomers and members of cultural communities, as well as community, educational, and municipal stakeholders.

“This project is at the heart of our mission: breaking down prejudice through the power of human connection.
