Saint-Adelphe, July 30, 2020<\/strong> \u2013 La Bo\u00eete interculturelle<\/a>, an organization based in Saint-Adelphe that organizes and creates exchanges between cultural communities, is proud to present the project Mamu Ensemble Together and two round tables on August 29th<\/sup> and August 30th<\/sup> in the M\u00e9kinac regional county municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These events are made possible by the financial support of the Department of Canadian Heritage\u2019s Community Support, Multiculturalism, and Anti-Racism Initiatives Program as well as in partnerships with Innu Takuaikan Uashat Mak Mani-utenam, Pasa Musik, the M\u00e9kinac regional county municipality, the municipality of Saint-Adelphe, the municipality of Grandes-Piles, Sainte-Th\u00e8cle\u2019s Tacos El Sombrero restaurant and over 18 other partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This second edition of the Mamu Ensemble Together <\/em>project brings together three unique artists: Shauit<\/a>, an Innu author-composer-singer from Mani-utenam in northern Quebec, Salif Sanou (Lasso)<\/a>, an author, composer and multi-instrumentalist from Burkina Faso, and Saulo Olmedo Evans<\/a>, a percussionist and multi-instrumentalist from Panama. They will take part in the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECT \u2013 Saturday, August 29th<\/sup><\/strong> \/ 7 p.m.<\/strong>
Saint-Adelphe\u2019s Centre multifonctionnel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with Shauit, Lasso & Saulo, we will present the Mamu Ensemble Ensemble project followed by a questions & answers session to promote diversity and intercultural understanding.
50 people maximum<\/strong> | First come, first served<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note that the Public Health instructions in force must be respected by all and that the wearing of a mask will be compulsory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ROUND TABLE \u2013 Sunday, August 30th<\/sup><\/strong> \/ 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.<\/strong>
Outdoor stage of Grandes-Pile’s municipal park (or municipal hall in case of rain)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round table animated by Autrement d\u2019ici<\/a>. Participants will discuss issues related to multiculturalism. 35 people maximum | first come, first served<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round table facilitated by Autrement d\u2019ici. Participants will discuss issues related to multiculturalism. 35 people maximum | first come, first served. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These events will be limited to a fixed number of people per event or the limit fixed by Public Health for indoor and outdoor meetings, solely on a \u201cfirst come, first seated\u201d basis. No exceptions. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mindful of everyone\u2019s health and respectful of the health measures put forward by public health authorities, we will take every necessary step to enable social distancing and will provide required sanitary devices<\/a>. Wearing a mask will be mandatory for the Saturday night event and indoor gatherings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
