Saint-Adelphe, September 7, 2021<\/strong> \u2014 La Bo\u00eete interculturelle is pleased to announce that, thanks to funding from the Government of Canada and an incredible range of partners, we will be going on the road for a series of screenings across Quebec to present the documentary Mamu Ensemble Together<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fifty (50) minutes long (available in French and English) Mamu Ensemble Together is the result of the project of the same name carried out in 2020\/2021 in the community of Mani-utenam on the North Shore of Quebec and in the region of M\u00e9kinac in Mauricie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the heart of this project, three musicians\u2014Shauit, Lasso and Saulo\u2014and an ambassador-musician, Mishta-Shipu McKenzie. Together, they exchange with citizens on the use of music as a tool for dialogue in the fight against racism and the promotion of multiculturalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each screening will be followed by a question period with the project curator, the musicians (subject to availability) and Suzie Yeo of Autrement d’ici<\/a> (for some screenings).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To date, screenings are planned for the following regions: Mani-utenam (North Shore of Quebec), Mekinac, Bas-Saint-Laurent and Chaudi\u00e8res-Appalaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
