With her deep appreciation for the Moroccan culture, indigenous artists, and with its mission to build bridges between different cultures, La Bo\u00eete interculturelle introduced\u00a0Pasa Musik<\/a>\u00a0in 2016 to the unique idea of a musical residency between\u00a0Shauit<\/a>\u2014author and composer from the Innu nation of Maliotenam in Northern Quebec\u2014and musicians from the Sahara in Morocco. Due to conflicting schedules, this collaboration never materialized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n La Bo\u00eete still forged ahead and curated two projects between Canada and Morocco (see\u00a02017<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a02018<\/a>\u00a0intercultural projects), creating a momentum for future collaborations to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the Spring of 2019, during Ramadan and with Reggae as a starting point, the improbable meeting between\u00a0Wachmn\u2019hit<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0Kenitra in Morocco and Shauit took place.
