Rooted in rural communities, La Boîte interculturelle builds bridges between cultures, generations, and backgrounds. Our projects travel, connect, and leave a lasting impact—from Quebec to Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire.

Unique opportunities

- Cultural Resonance, premiered in Morocco (Canada-Morocco)
- Mamu Ensemble Together (Quebec)—distributed in more than 8 communities in Quebec (accompanied by video clips for several target audiences)

Together, we go further!
An overview of existing initiatives in Quebec regarding the use of music as a tool for intercultural dialogue and the fight against racism and discrimination.
In the fall of 2021, for example, La Boîte traveled 3,000+ km to provide screenings of the documentary Mamu Ensemble Together in six regions of Quebec.
More than 600 subscribers worldwide (various organizations, cultural decision-makers, governments, etc.) with an above-average open rate for a non-profit organization.

Several of our projects have been covered by national and international media such as Radio-Canada, M24TV/MAP, Le Matin Maroc, 2M, Radio-Canada International, and La Presse.


An International Project
For the project Music as a Tool for Dialogue, La Boîte created 27 video clips in collaboration with musicians from Canada, Algeria, Morocco, the United States, Chile, Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Panama, Ghana, England, Guadeloupe, and Gabon.
A first!
During the project The Earth Has Only One Sun in Morocco, the Indigenous big drum was heard for the first time in the Sahara Desert.


We Provide Tools
La Boîte has developed toolkits to assist organizations during screenings of our documentaries (including a viewing guide, promotional material, etc.).
