Elvire B. Toffa, administrator of La Boîte interculturelle, honoured by the Quebec government

Saint-Adelphe, Quebec, June 2, 2022 – On May 31st, Ms. Elvire B. Toffa was awarded the prize Pour un Québec sans racism (for a racism-free Quebec) in the Individual category, in recognition of her undeniable commitment to a better living together in Quebec. It was at the Parliament building of Quebec that the prize was awarded for the first time.

Sensitive to the question of the socio-professional integration of immigrant women, mainly African women in Quebec, Ms. Toffa created the NGO Regroupement des Amazones d’Afrique et du Monde (RAAM). She is also involved in anti-racism events and intercultural activities that promote rapprochement between cultures.

La Boîte’s president Mr. Faouzi Metouilli, as well as members of the board of directors, warmly congratulate Ms. Toffa for this honorary distinction. La Boîte is proud to count among its directors, a woman who is so committed and invested in guaranteeing full respect for all.

We would also like to congratulate Coconut Podcast, which was honoured in the organization category.
